We would like to express words of support and endorsement for Kim Monaghan-Derrig in the upcoming November election for the Town Council seat in Cape Elizabeth. Our family has known Kim for many years. She is a native of Cape Elizabeth, and an active participant involved in many state and local issues, with hands-on work experience in both the private and public sectors. Her views on issues are balanced, her opinions well thought out and she has a genuine interest in making her community a great place to live for every individual.
Our family was particularly appreciative of her efforts to bring the Region 1 Soccer Championship to Portland for two years, allowing many people from Maine the opportunity to enjoy watching all the children compete in a high-level soccer event that fueled our local economy. Kim is a true professional and friend. We will look forward to casting our votes for her in November.
