Now that I am through the primary, I would like to offer my sincere thanks to all the residents of South Portland, Cape Elizabeth and Scarborough who engaged in the democratic process by voting. It was an honor to run in the Democratic primary for state Senate District 7 against Bryan Kaenrath. I am thrilled with the demonstration of support for my candidacy and am excited by the opportunity to run in the general election this fall. Thank you to the many people who have taken the time to share their thoughts with me; I greatly enjoyed the many conversations with the people of this district, hearing about their hopes and concerns, and look forward to having many more in the coming months. Finally, my sincere thanks to Bryan for his service to our community. I wish him the very best in the future.
