I am writing to express my support for Marna Miller as a member of the Falmouth School Board. Marna was one of the first people I met when I moved to Falmouth three years ago when she was the leader of the Falmouth Family Network.
Marna is caring and friendly, someone who works hard to improve the quality of our community and encourages others to do the same. She balances work, family, and other interests with grace.
Marna is a thoughtful listener and hard worker who is able to express her views clearly and respectfully. On the School Board, Marna will bring the perspective of someone with children of elementary and beginning middle school age.
The Falmouth school district is facing a time of tremendous uncertainty and change with the construction of a new elementary school and serious budgetary constraints occurring simultaneously. There is both great history to build upon and the need to evolve to effectively meet present challenges.
I believe Marna is someone who can provide strong leadership and help guide our schools forward. Please join me in voting for Marna Miller on June 8.
