I don’t think that Mainers feel insulted or abused except by liberals. Maine had the highest percent of registered voters who voted this November, showing their interest was high. I think Mainers do want less government. I think Mainers understand that to have a more perfect union, justice, domestic tranquility, common defense, general welfare and securing the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, we need less government, hard work and more personal responsibility for our actions, not more welfare.

Mainers did not vote against their best interests, they clearly stated they wanted less governmental interference in all areas of life. Maine has few large corporations for the state government or anyone else to subsidize. Remember, for-profit companies are good for Maine and the United States.

Mainers are for more jobs, against welfare fraud and illegal immigrants. And yes, some of those illegal immigrants do have infectious diseases. By their vote Mainers and I do think big government is the problem and not the solution. Less is much better than more. Yes I do think Edgar Allen Beem is a sore loser, and Mainers got it right Nov. 4.
