I urge Senators King and Collins to support the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed carbon standards for new power plants.

Whether it’s the clean-up costs that local communities must pay after deadly weather events, or the health-care costs from smog, which makes it hard for our children and seniors to breathe, the costs from climate change are huge.

The EPA’s standards would reduce carbon pollution and have a real impact in the fight against climate change. I hope that our political leaders will support this important step.
