I was pleased to see that Sean Mahoney has stepped up to run for Falmouth Town Council. The budgetary and conservation decisions that lay ahead are key to how the town will emerge from the current fiscal challenges and what it will look like for years to come. The town needs leaders with a long-range vision who can balance the costs and benefits of the opportunities and challenges that lay ahead. Having worked with Sean in a number of situations, I am confident that he is just that type of leader and urge people to vote for him on June 12.
