I recently spent a rainy afternoon in Brunswick at a gathering for Seth Levy, who is running for Cumberland County district attorney in the Democratic primary. Seth outlined his comprehensive and realistic plan for criminal justice reform. And he explained that the district attorney is among the most powerful people in our criminal justice system and that the DA has a real impact on citizens’ day-to-day lives.

With his depth of experience, Seth Levy understands this power and how to make the criminal justice system a force for good. The next district attorney for Cumberland County must tackle juvenile incarceration, expand treatment services, move toward a fair bail system, and improve outcomes for victims of violent crime.

I am confident that Seth is the right person to lead our criminal justice system toward a better future. Please join me in voting for Seth Levy on June 12.
