I am convinced that Kristina Egan has the skills to bring together the conflicting perspectives consuming so much of the Freeport Town Council’s time. She values involving all citizens, including those with active concerns, in the town’s big decisions. At the same time, she strikes me as having a spine; willing to make, and stick to tough decisions that the council must make.

Important to moving Freeport forward is a balanced approach, including controlled economic development as well as protection of what is left of our rural character. Each town counselor has done the best that they can, yet we need a positive change.

Egan has a commitment to protecting our community. I like her business experience and skills, and her love of her town. The added benefit of not being tarred with past council decisions makes her the better person for moving the council forward.
