I am supporting Analiese Larson, Lucy Tucker and Karyl Hazard for Falmouth School Board. All three are reasonable, sensible parents who value quality education and support the proposed school budget. Analiese Larson is the vice chairwoman of the board and has been instrumental in preserving the high quality of Falmouth’s education system, while facing major cuts in funding from the state. Lucy Tucker and Karyl Hazard will bring the same sound financial policies to the board, combined with a keen desire to maintain high standards of learning.

They are a stark contrast to other candidates whose extreme policies would threaten the excellent schools that Falmouth is known for. Michael Doyle proposes to slash the budget, cut numerous teacher positions, eliminate whole programs and replace language teachers with software and audiotapes. Jan Andrews is a member of the Maine Tea Party/Maine Refounders and supports the policies of that extremist group.
