The Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate, Cynthia Dill, is in an uphill battle with Angus King. Basically, Mr. King portrays himself as an independent, when he has always acted like a Democrat. In fact, a majority of Democrats will most likely vote for King, since he has toted the liberal agenda for decades. Our political system might just as well have the Conservative Party, and the Liberal/Socialist Party. There is nothing “independent” about Angus King. He is just another political chameleon, who is trying to garnish liberal support from both Democratic and independent voters.
