March 1 was a wonderful day. You never know when you might be influencing or setting an example. No, I did not win $7,000 a week for the rest of my life and someone else’s life. It was a much better surprise. A little blond boy and his mom approached me at the Hallmark store in Falmouth. The boy had a little basket of flowers in his hand. His mom said he wanted to give me a present. “We saw you as you entered the store, and that was when he said, ‘Mom, I want to buy a present for that pretty lady.’”. Wow, since March 7 was my 70th birthday, I loved that part. But the best part was meeting the sweet boy and his mom. When I left the store they were parked right beside me. I decided to ask for their address so I could send him a note of thanks.

Who could ask for a better day in March or any month. Thank you dear one for your kindness.
