I had the pleasure of working with Bill Donovan for two years on the Scarborough Town Council and found him to be a dedicated public servant. His ability to see both sides of contentious issues and compromise on solutions set him apart from others. He is very conscientious about the development of fiscal budgets that responsibly support both the educational and municipal needs of the town and at the same time respect the taxpayers’ financial burden. During the past year Bill has proved his leadership and management skills as the chairman of the council. I applaud his willingness to continue to serve the people of our town and hope you join me in supporting him in November.
