I heartily support the referendum to expand the Falmouth Memorial Library. I am a descendant of the Iverson family. Our family agrees with the decision to demolish the original home, built by our distant cousin, Iver Iverson in 1904. This is a financially prudent decision in order to make the best use of taxpayer and donor money. Our family is grateful that the front facade of the new library for Falmouth will architecturally resemble the present Falmouth landmark.

Furthermore it is my hope that our citizens will not only vote yes on the referendum, but will give generously to the coming capital campaign to raise the funds necessary to give Falmouth the best library it can have for the future.
