Somehow, a minor episode rose beyond the legendary Police Beat to a full-blown Forecaster investigative piece, “Falmouth parent among those charged in underage drinking cases.” And it mentioned my dear friend, Jennifer Nolan, I believe unnecessarily.
But, now that we’re talking about her, let’s really spill the beans. Among those who cherish her, Jennifer has a unparalleled record and reputation as an upstanding Falmouth mom. She and her husband, Jay, have lived here for almost 20 years, raising four fine sons. She is a warm, welcoming, generous presence and hugely positive influence in the lives of hundreds of their friends. My two boys are lucky to be among them.
I know Falmouth can be an unexciting place, but The Forecaster doesn’t have to whip up something out of nothing to make it more interesting. For now, I’ll restrain myself on what I consider to be overzealous police work by the Falmouth Police Department. Falmouth is a great place to raise a family because of the people. Jennifer Nolan is first among them.
