Thank you for publishing the front-page article about the area high school theatre programs. Amber Cronin did an excellent job highlighting the benefits that the arts programs like these offer to a large number of students, both on stage and behind the scenes. As the parent of three students in the Greely drama program, I can attest to the fact that the positive atmosphere and the camaraderie the kids develop when putting on a production is enormously beneficial to them, and nothing is more exciting than playing to a full house. Promoting the shows to the general public is a win-win for all. I hope to see more articles like this when the spring shows and the One Act plays come in a few months time.
