Voters in Falmouth have a great chance this year to elect a hard-working and conscientious candidate to the School Board. Cindy Han has significant volunteer experience in the school system and her three children are current Falmouth students or recent graduates. As the former chairwoman of the board, I know the qualities and skills that effective members need. Cindy’s work ethic and vision will ensure Falmouth schools continue to remain among the best in the state. Her focus on responsibly implementing proficiency-based learning standards will benefit both students and teachers. In addition, her creativity and poise will be valuable in crafting efficient and cost-saving budgetary changes in the face of reduced state education funding. Falmouth residents are fortunate to have an intelligent, committed citizen willing to step up and serve on the School Board.
