Our school motto, “Empowering students to create fulfilling lives in a changing world” is a powerful statement and reminds us that we need to be cognizant of the changing world around us. As our economy recovers, we have to be certain that Yarmouth remains a top-performing school district while being fiscally responsible. Leah Guay embodies this principle.
Leah has been active in the School Committee meetings and is very knowledgeable about the school system and budget. Her attention to detail and strong desire to maintain Yarmouth’s greatness are apparent in her words and actions. Leah is already a strong advocate for the school community and town of Yarmouth. Leah’s positive style and attitude, as well as her love of Yarmouth, make her well-suited to be a member of the School Committee.
