We are writing to express our family’s support of the Falmouth Memorial Library expansion. Everyone we speak to loves libraries. We can’t think of any community place that is as inviting and open to everyone; that every citizen can go to for enjoyment, collaboration, meeting people, and forming lasting friendships.
We are a family of four with two kids in Falmouth Elementary School. When we moved here from the West Coast 10 years ago, we knew we wanted to settle in a strong community with top-notch public schools and a vibrant library. The schools and community speak for themselves; it’s time for Falmouth to have a library commensurate with the quality of the rest of the town.
We don’t need to sway opinions, we just need everyone who uses the library, everyone who loves our community, to spread the word and get out to vote yes.
