We write with enthusiastic support for Sara Gideon as a candidate for state representative from Freeport and Pownal.
A great deal can be said about what Sara brings in personal qualities that will make her an effective representative. Through her work with Freeport Community Services, her commitment to volunteering in our schools, and her tenure as a town councilor, Sara has shown herself to be a tireless advocate who is committed to making Freeport and Pownal stronger, and who brings enthusiasm, energy and intelligence to all that she takes on.
Sara’s strong family and community values, her ability to really listen to community members’ concerns and ideas, and her instinct for reasonable decision making, will serve our community well in Augusta.
