When I think of the qualities I want in my representative, I think of Sara Gideon. Sara is a graduate of The George Washington University, where she interned for U.S. Sen. Claiborne Pell, who created the Pell (education) Grants. When Sara moved into the private business sector, she worked hard to go beyond her job, creating a pilot Corporate Giving Program that allowed her to serve the public and to encourage her fellow co-workers to do the same. When she settled down with her family in Freeport, she sought ways to be home full time with her children, while still giving to her community. Spending countless volunteer hours as both a town councilor, school volunteer and Freeport Community Services board member. She is a relentlessly hard worker who seeks to make decisions that are for people. She does it with a smile and she does it with grace. Please vote for Sara in District 106.
