Democratic state Sen. Stan Gerzofsky has been an all-out battler for issues that effect us. The major one has been his support for revenue sharing, which the existing governor continues to try to cut. The loss of any funding from state revenue sharing or school assistance would simply mean higher and higher tax rates for our communities; this governor wants to be able to say he cuts taxes, but all he’s doing is shifting that burden onto the local communities. Stan has stood steadfast against such moves.
I thank Stan Gerzofsky for his efforts and strongly urge you to send Stan back to the Senate in District 24.
