What a fantastic idea of moving the Brunswick Recreation Department to Brunswick Landing. I’ve lived on the east side of town most of my life, having to travel to the other side of town for all the sporting events. Usually we never hear about things being cancelled until we are already at the field, so it will be nice being so close now. As far as downtown kids not being able to participate is silly. We have a great public transportation system that is not utilized enough. It’s not all doom and gloom as some think it will be; it’s a blessing in disguise.
