I proudly endorse Richard Rottkov’s Democratic candidacy in Maine House District 32. I have had the privilege of knowing Richard for 13 years and have always been impressed with his dedication to volunteerism in South Portland. He has shown great care for our environment by working tirelessly with the South Portland Land Trust and has fought for the values we hold dear, such as quality affordable health care, outstanding safe public schools, and sustainable economic growth.
Richard has raised two children, and works as an educator at South Portland High School and Southern Maine Community College. He also has worked in public relations, and holds a master’s degree in communications.
Richard is a very caring, thoughtful, and compassionate man that always puts the needs of others above his own. As a former member of the House of Representatives, those are the qualities I look for in someone doing the people’s work.
