I had the unique opportunity to spend all of primary day talking with the two candidates running to represent Cumberland in the Maine House of Representatives. It became clear that Democrat Dale Denno has the experience and knowledge to be the most effective voice for our community.
I don’t agree with Denno on every issue. However, he’s receptive to hearing the best ideas without regard to political source or ideology. He actively solicits viewpoints and listens without a preconceived agenda. He brings an unrivaled combination of public and private service to the race and has a proven record of working with legislators from both political parties.
I’m a Republican. However, the challenges facing Maine, especially the economy, demand that we look beyond labels to elect the most qualified people. I urge you to vote for Denno in House District 45.
