I am a parent of a former student of Falmouth teacher Paul Rosenblum. My son was in his class in 2005. He was by far the best teacher my son has had to date. Many teachers are dedicated and do a great job, but the enthusiasm “Mr. R” brings to the classroom is special. He attends to each student’s needs in a professional and caring way.

Mr. R. was a huge support to my son and myself. His classroom is always open for students, siblings and parents. He made “staying after” something fun instead of something dreaded.
We have kept in touch over the years along with many other students and parents.

I understand the need for communication to keep our kids safe. Any parent has the right to ask questions and get answers. And I am comfortable saying that parents of a student of Mr. R. will agree he is one of a kind. But he does not deserve to be held in a negative light. The administrators did due diligence in taking the proper time to provide accurate answers. Mr. R. has apologized with deep regret for something innocent.

This story was not newsworthy of the front page.
