I urge Falmouth voters to re-elect state Rep. Teresa Pierce, D-Falmouth, to the state Legislature in November. Teresa’s commitment to both Falmouth and the state of Maine is evident in her six years of service as town councilor (two terms) and two terms representing House District 44. As co-chairwoman of the Joint Select Committee on Marijuana Legalization Implementation, Teresa took a thoughtful, measured, and practical approach that kept the safety of children and the interests of Maine communities front and center. During her four years on the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee, Teresa has fought for necessary funding for education, from pre-K through to our community college and state university system. She knows that a robust economy and good jobs depend on a strong public education system. Her experience, her passion and her pragmatism are a winning combination for Falmouth and Maine.
