Falmouth voters, on Nov. 4, please vote yes for the bond authorizing up to $2.8 million to assist in covering the renovation costs of the Falmouth Memorial Library.

A wonderful, overused and outdated building, the library is ready for renovations to create much-needed space for traditional books, to improve and expand our access to digital information, to create working and gathering spaces for the distinctly different groups who use the library, and to facilitate and expand the provision of free programs and services to citizens, all in an energy-efficient building which will serve us for decades to come. It’s a smart use of our tax dollars and will enrich our town and the lives of its citizens. Support the library’s mission to “provide resources and services that foster a love of reading and inspire imagination, learning, curiosity, and an open exchange of ideas and information.” Vote yes.
