I want to thank the voters of Falmouth for allowing me to serve the school system from which I graduated 61 years ago this month. I also want to congratulate the two winners of the recent election to the School Board and echo the comments made in this paper by the two losers, who are looking for the winners to honor the promise of fiscal responsibility. For those among the voters concerned about the direction of our schools, I suggest they check out the School Department website. Until Forbe’s magazine changes their system, it does show that Falmouth is the “Best place to live and learn in the United States.”
