I drive a lot, over a half million miles in the last 20 years, and it makes me realize how lucky we are to have the Falmouth Public Works Department. When the snow is pounding down and roads are getting buried, I find myself clutching my steering wheel and chanting to myself, “I just need to get to Falmouth. I just need to get to Falmouth.” I say that because Falmouth roads are the best maintained around. If I can make it to Falmouth, I know I can get home safely.
I’ve been the beneficiary of Falmouth streets for over 30 years, so I should have said this long ago: Thank you, Falmouth Public Works. You’re the best.
