There is no better time to express gratitude to the Falmouth community for the amazing support extended to the Falmouth Food Pantry. Literally hundreds of individuals and dozens of businesses make it possible for us to serve hundreds of families in need.

The Falmouth Memorial Library is one of the community services that extends unique help to the Food Pantry. As you walk into the library there is always a collection box for items needed at the pantry. But during this busy holiday season the staff at the library has come up with unique ways to serve our clients. Now as you enter the library there is a colorful display of beautiful hats, each one a gift from a library knitter and intended to go to a client of the Food Pantry. In addition, each week a library volunteer is pulling the best of their donated children’s books to be included in the Christmas gifts for children being organized by the Food Pantry at local schools and churches.

Finally, please take the time on Dec. 10 to attend a special musical  performance of the popular ukulele ensemble The Flukes. The library has organized this special event to benefit the Falmouth Memorial Library. Although admission is free for the 6:30-7:30 p.m. performance, there will be a collection of needed Food Pantry items and free-will cash. Help to make this a successful event as you enjoy an hour of wonderful music.
