This is a time of year when we must not forget that there are those among us who are struggling for even basic necessities. Resources to access heating fuel, food, clothes, shelter, medical care and transportation are available for those in distress. No one needs to go hungry or cold this winter.

If you are struggling, please contact Falmouth General Assistance through Town Hall for guidance. The Falmouth Food Pantry is ready to help those in need with food and other necessities. Organizations such as the Falmouth Lions Club and the Salvation Army are always standing by to lend a helping hand. Another informational resource that can help point anyone in the right direction is to dial 211. This public-private partnership can answer a wide range of questions about medical, elderly services and child care, to transportation, fuel, and utilities.

Help is available for those in need; please take advantage of these resources.
