There is no place in Falmouth that offers more than Falmouth Memorial Library. The new library will improve resources for all patrons. It is not true that libraries have lost relevance. The resources and services they offer create opportunities for a wide range of learning and education. As a former teacher, I know that students must have access to a dynamic library. The design of the new library addresses their needs.

In addition, my work with the less fortunate in our community makes it clear that while many in Falmouth have access to wonderful resources, not all are so fortunate. This includes folks of all ages, from elderly longtime residents to our youngest children. Our library staff and resources are crucial to this population even as it enriches everyone.

I urge everyone to support the library bond and build our library for generations to come.
