I have been a supporter of the Falmouth Memorial Library for many years. My time as a library patron goes back to the late 1960s when my mother would bring me to the library on Friday evenings and I would get to pick out that week’s reading to borrow and take home. Thanks to her patience and to how comfortable the librarians made me, I spent hours with all the books. And still do. I am pleased it will be staying at its current location. Even though technology has changed some things, the library is still a wonderful place for people of all ages. And the expansion plan makes sense; we are soundly improving on a wonderful project that many of us helped on in the 1990s. This is sensible progress. Please join me in voting yes for the library.
