Falmouth Memorial Library is a great place to hear music, knit a sweater, take a ride in a vintage car, check out a good book, or research a trip.

One of its most important functions in my opinion, is Raising Readers. Literacy is important to children’s education, their college placement, and their future  involvement as informed citizens. That’s a tall order for a small space, but our library has struggled to provide all these functions for us as best it could.

Now, to suit the growing needs of our community, it also needs to grow. I am especially excited about the increase of technological work space, a home for the classics collection, and a healthier mold-free environment.

Considering the benefits our community receives from our library, an investment of about $30 a year is a bargain. Please join with me in voting to expand our library.
