On June 8, Falmouth voters will elect three people to serve on the Town Council. Bonny Rodden is completing a three-year term as a councilor, and is running for re-election. I urge your support of her candidacy.

We are very fortunate in Falmouth to have capable, thoughtful, hard-working and effective public servants like Rodden. Bonny has worked tirelessly to preserve Falmouth’s quality of place. She and I worked together to ensure that the town could join METRO and continue providing public bus service to Falmouth’s citizens. Bonny now represents Falmouth on the METRO board. Bonny has also worked in numerous ways to find the best and most cost-effective ways to deal with municipal trash disposal. She is a strong advocate of maintaining the transfer station. She has also helped to preserve open space, and to find ways in which economic development and environmental protection can mutually benefit Falmouth’s tax base and its special natural qualities.

Bonny actively listens to all arguments before making a decision. She is well prepared for council meetings, she evaluates various options with care, and she works tirelessly to ensure that Falmouth is a strong, vibrant and very special community. I urge you to re-elect Bonny Rodden to a second term on the Falmouth Town Council so she can continue her good work on behalf of all Falmouth citizens.
