I am writing in response to the story regarding Falmouth teacher Paul Rosenblum. My daughter just graduated from Falmouth High School. Her senior discovery presentation required a Falmouth teacher be present; most students choose a high school teacher. My daughter chose Paul Rosenblum – her teacher from six years ago, which attests to his long-term influence on his students. His past students often visit and keep in touch with him, as my daughter did.

Anyone that will judge him negatively, based upon the playground incident, is probably someone who does not know him as a teacher. I was not there, so will not add to the comments, except to say that he admitted he made a mistake. He said he was sorry. Hopefully that can be the end of it.

It is unfortunate that Mr. R’s “15 minutes of fame” came this way, and not for the dynamic and unforgettable work he does on a daily basis in the classroom. Falmouth is lucky to have him.
