In recent months, the Falmouth school business manager, Dan O’Shea, has faced accusations questioning his personal ethics and professional conduct. These actions are completely unfounded. We are fortunate to have civil servants, such as O’Shea, who perform their jobs with a true sense of duty, despite having to weather a storm of vitriol.

O’Shea has certainly gone above and beyond in ensuring that this district remains financially stable in light of reductions in financial support from both the state and federal government, all while limiting the impact on the quality of our education. Falmouth has become one of the premier school districts in the United States in large part to the personal integrity and dedication that Dan O’Shea has put towards the children of Falmouth.

In light of recent attacks on O’Shea at a personal level, we thought it prudent to speak out in support of this dedicated, highly valuable, and honorable civil servant with whom we have the pleasure to work side-by-side with as a member of our leadership team. Please feel free to contact any member of the board if you have any concerns or questions.
