For the first time in many years, there is a Democratic primary contest for state Senate District 25. On June 10, please vote for Cathy Breen. Often, elected officials do not endorse candidates in party primary elections. I am happy to break with that tradition to endorse Cathy, who served six years on the Falmouth Town Council. She was a strong leader, an active listener, a problem solver and a hard worker.
Sen. Dick Woodbury and I have worked hard to ensure an excellent Maine educational system, from early childhood through post-secondary; educate and prepare the workers and citizens of the 21st century; strengthen Maine’s economy; support its businesses and entrepreneurial spirit, and protect our state’s truly outstanding natural resources. I know that Cathy shares these values. She will work tirelessly to promote public policies benefiting her constituents and Maine. Please vote for Cathy Breen on June 10.
