We want to thank the Falmouth Town Council for hearing the concerns of the citizens of Falmouth relative to the proposal from the developers of the Falmouth Center. We strongly believe that instead of being pushed into making hasty choices, you have chosen a conservative path for a development that will last for many decades.
We encourage you to refer to the Comprehensive Plan as your basic tool for deciding how the Falmouth Shopping Center should be developed. As you well know, much thought and citizen participation went into creating that vision for our town.
We believe that some elements of the developers’ schematic plan reflect the intent of the Comprehensive Plan. Great; let’s thoughtfully consider those elements.
