I am writing to endorse Karen Farber for Falmouth Town Council. I got to know Karen when we served together on the Falmouth Long Range Planning Advisory Committee and its predecessor, CPAC. During the years we served together, the committee wrestled with sensitive issues involving the revision of Falmouth’s zoning ordinances, including state-mandated changes to shoreland zoning and the town’s wetlands setback restrictions. Throughout the process, Karen impressed me with her preparedness, her keen intellect and her ability to grasp complex issues quickly and completely. She challenged assumptions and asked astute questions before making up her own mind about any particular issue. Most important, perhaps, was her ability to find common ground between people with disparate points of view. Karen possesses the skill set we need to ensure our Town Council is efficient, effective and responsive to the needs of all our citizens. Please join me in supporting Karen’s candidacy.
