I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that supported me in my run for a Falmouth Town Council seat.
It is a shame that partisan politics and special interest play such a vital role when it comes to electing a a person to the Town Council. I strongly feel this practice discourages qualified, sincere and dedicated people from stepping forward to be part of the process in making informed, educated decisions that benefit Falmouth as a whole. This also may be one of the reasons why there is such a lack of engagement from the entire community of Falmouth.
The decisions and policies made by the council effect all of us in some form or fashion. I can only hope moving into the future that more people would get involved.
