I was very happy and grateful that Falmouth councilors recently voted to continue funding for the Falmouth Flyer bus. And it was heartening to read all the support expressed in letters to the editor. It shows a great community of thought and those of us in neighboring towns should take note.

I would also like to encourage anyone who can to ride the bus. Of course, it may not always be feasible and the convenience of hopping in the car is tempting, but I find it’s a more pleasant and relaxing way to get to Portland, and it puts you in the center of town with no worries of parking. It’s a great service and the more we use it the more efficient it will be.
