My family and I moved to Yarmouth six years ago. Like so many others from inside and outside of Maine, we were drawn by great schools and the special sense of community that sets Yarmouth apart.
I am excited that this year we have the opportunity to elect the kind of state representative that a town like Yarmouth deserves: independent Dennis Welsh.
Before I knew Dennis as a fellow Yarmouth resident and school parent, I knew him professionally as an outstanding photographer. I’ve travelled around Maine with Dennis. He gets this state and its people. He knows what we must do to create opportunities for our kids. And as a thoughtful independent, he will be a leader, not a predictable vote for either party.
Dennis will be a great representative for Yarmouth and Chebeague and Long Islands and a strong independent voice in Augusta. I hope you will join me in voting for him in House District 47.
