Former state Sen. Eloise Vitelli, the Democratic candidate in Senate District 23, demonstrates an incredible depth of knowledge and the preparation to deal with the significant issues that confront Maine.

We need to bring Maine’s economy into this century, a task for which Vitelli is uniquely qualified. Since 1983 she has been fully involved in the field of small business development and she coordinated the nationally recognized and successful Women’s Business Survival Skills Project.

She went on to create the New Ventures training program and was a founder of the Women’s Business Development Corp. She also is a policy wonk and has initiated policies which combine the needs of modern technology with workforce preparation.
