We write with our highest support for Geraldine “Gigi” Sanchez for the School Administrative District 51 Board of Directors.
We have known Gigi both professionally and personally for over 15 years. Gigi is an active member of the Cumberland-North Yarmouth community and a constant presence in the schools and on the ball fields with her active fourth- and fifth-grade children. She is known for her quick wit and genuine interest in her friends and neighbors.
Professionally, Gigi has consistently received honors and recognition for excellence in the legal field, and was elected president of both the Maine State Bar Association and the Cumberland Bar Association. Her pragmatism, unflappable professionalism, good cheer, and extraordinary skills in mediation and problem-solving will serve the School Board and its many stakeholders well.
She will be a valuable asset to the School Board, and we urge you to support her candidacy.
