We will be voting for Theodora Kalikow in House District 29 and state Sen. Rebecca Millett in Senate District 29 to represent us.
Theo is a good neighbor, and a caring grandmother, as well as a competent and accomplished educator. She served as president of University of Maine, Farmington, where she was instrumental in construction of a “green” building, the education center on campus, which now bears her name.
Theo’s voting record will be one which aligns with our values, as does Rebecca’s. These two women understand that an important role of the legislative branch of government is to be a check and balance to executive power. We look forward to new times for the Maine Legislature next year.
