I hope that Leah Guay is elected to the School Committee in Yarmouth. We need her energy, her vision and her dedication to doing what is best for all the residents of Yarmouth.
As a town councilor, I know how hard it is to balance our budget. The Town Council and School Committee have worked diligently to maintain the highest level of standards without undue tax burdens. This is an extremely delicate balance.
Leah has been an active and knowledgeable participant in the many discussions and debates we have had this year. Her background as an insurance analyst gives her the skills needed to navigate and make sense of the financial and administrative demands of our school system. She will hit the ground running, yet be able to bring fresh eyes to the task. I hope you join me in voting for Leah Guay for School Committee.
