I will enthusiastically vote for Democrat Jean-Marie Caterina in state Senate District 30. As a successful small business owner and longtime promoter of local entrepreneurship that drives economic growth, she will translate that expertise into dynamic programs at the state level. I am convinced that the hard work and leadership she has demonstrated on the Scarborough Town Council will result in very effective representation for us in the Senate.

Our property taxes keep going up while the wealthy have received large tax breaks in Maine. One of Jean-Marie’s priorities will be to work for tax fairness for the middle class, not big corporations who fail to deliver on job promises. She was a leader on the Town Council in developing property tax rebate relief for seniors and has pledged to continue her support for senior issues, such as housing, in Augusta.
