If you value Freeport’s rural character, thriving main street businesses, and strong school system, Kristina Egan is your candidate for town councilor.

I’ve worked with Kristina for over a decade, first in Massachusetts and more recently in Maine. She has managed multi-faceted organizations composed of affordable housing, architecture, historic and environmental interests. The governor hired her to lead a complicated rail project in southeastern Massachusetts that resulted in a plan for economic development and environmental protection. The myriad interests brought to the table in these negotiations rarely come willingly and often fail to agree. She succeeded nonetheless.

Kristina elicits the best in people because she listens well, manages problem-solving discussions, has a quick and creative intellect, and respects individuals and their ideas. She is an unfailingly positive person who thrives on getting people to “yes.”

Maine is fortunate that Kristina lives here and wants to bring her skills to Freeport.
