Residents of Cumberland are blessed to have high-caliber and dedicated individuals step forward to serve our community. We have known Michael Edes since he was in the Cumberland grade-school system. His career in law enforcement has been exemplary, having risen to be a leader in the Maine State Police. What better time, for the safety of our children, to have a professional officer serving on our Town Council? His presence on the council would also be a great asset to our very capable Police Department. Please say “thank you, Mike,” by giving him your vote on June 11.
